Due to frequent occurrence of earthquake in the recent past, a need was felt to have an earthquake resistant TMT bars. The Super Ductile MICKY HT TMT 600 SD bars are specially designed and developed for construction in seismic prone zones. MICKY HT TMT 600 SD bars provide superior strength even as they reduce the quantum of steel required. It ensures minimum sulphur and phosphorous content leading to fewer harmful impurities in the steel. Similarly, MICKY HT TMT 600 SD corrosion resistance steel (CRS) is made to a unique chemistry which helps resist corrosion and is particularly useful in coastal areas, or where groundwater is brackish and areas where toxic gas emissions seriously impact the environment or in high seismic zones.

MICKY HT TMT 600 SD crossed ribbed TMT reinforcement bars are particularly appropriate for high seismic zones. These TMT Bar has enhanced strength and high ductility, which means that its ultimate tensile strength is greater. As a result, these TMT Bar can be plastically bent out of shape to a much greater extent. This flexibility is an important characteristic for increasing safety of construction in areas where earthquakes occur frequently.
• EXTRA CASTING GRIP WITH CEMENT: The Rolls used in manufacturing Micky TMT Bars are digitally designed, which give precise, uniform & perfect crossed ribs that confirms extra casting with cement. Thereby, resulting in excellent bond strength with concrete.
• SUPERIOR DUCTILITY: Micky TMT Bars exhibit very high ductility due to lower carbon content and higher elongation. These Bars can withstand bending and re-bending in spite of their high strength since manufactured by a unique process where in the TMT bar is made to undergo special chemical & post rolling treatment. Low levels of carbon ensure easier and faster welding without preheating. This means stronger and safer
joints & reduction in wastage at site.
• RUST, CORROSSION & FIRE RESISTANT: Due to the use of Thermo Mechanical Treatment there is hard Martensitic-ring as the outer layer in TMT Bars, which protects moisture to enter in the inside layer confirming Rust & Corrosion Resistance. The hard layer protects TMT Bars from fire.
• EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT: Due to lower Carbon content & higher Manganese, Micky TMT Bars exhibit higher elongation, high strength & bendability - thus is capable to withstand higher stress from earthquake.
