Quality Control System

UTM - Universal Testing Machines (UTMs) stretch, bend and compress test samples at controlled test speeds or constant loading rates. We use it to stretch and bend our samples i.e. our TMT Bars before making it ready for Sale.

TMT or Quenched & Self–tempered (QST) Bars / Quenching Self–tempering Core Transformation / Schematic Representation of Tempcore Process - These processes impart high strength to the bars using the technique of Thermo Mechanical Treatment as against Cold Twisting which is used for the manufacture of Torsteel Reinforcement Bars. Due to the heat treatment the micro structure of the bar consists of Tempered Martensite in the periphery and Ferrite Pearlite in the centre. The strength to the bar is by Tempered Martensite layer while the ductility to the bar is incorporated by the Ferrite- Pearlite layer.

MICKY METALS LIMITED having its Factory at Suri Dist. in Birbhum in West Bengal, where under Thermo Mechanical Treatment process, TMT Bars and Structural Steels are manufactured.

Our quality management includes three stages of Inspection, Control and Assurance. MICKY TMT Re-bars are produced from 100% tested Billets (as per IS 2830:2012) and conforms to IS 1786:2008. Due to unmatched quality offered by MICKY METALS LTD., TMT Re-Bars of Brand “MICKY” are highly accepted and appreciated in the various Infra- Structural Projects and in the Retails market. Failure in any reinforcement concrete structure happens due to Corrosion of Tor Steel in the concrete, where these Steel corrode in existence of chloride ions.

Micky TMT Bars due to its thermo-mechanical treatment are highly rust and corrosion resistant.
